Biography
Kamden Hibbitt, born April 10, 2009 in Westerville, Ohio, began his racing career at age 5 when his parents formed the family-owned race team, Hibbitt Motorsports. In Kamden's seven-plus (7+) years behind the wheel, he earned one hundred twelve (112) feature wins and twenty (20) points / track
championships.
After retiring from quarter midgets, Kamden moved his focus to sports cars and road racing. In 2022, he completed multiple test sessions, was a Mazda Motorsports Spec MX5 Shootout Nominee and in December of that year, and at only 13 years old, became one of the youngest drivers to obtain his full competition license through the National Auto Sport Association (NASA). In 2023, he began his first full season of road racing where he competed in the highly-competitive Spec Miata where he earned one runner-up result along with multiple top five and top ten finishes. In November of 2023, Kamden earned the incredible honor of being named as a Mazda Motorsports factory driver and ambassador for the 2024 season after winning the Mazda Motorsports Spec MX-5
Shootout at Carolina Motorsports Park.
In the 2024 season as a Mazda Factory Driver, Kamden has earned three pole position qualifying times and one runner up finish at his home track, Mid-Ohio. All these came along with Kamden being a consistent top 5 driver throughout the national touring SCCA Spec MX-5 Series.
In May of 2024, Kamden was one of 20 drivers worldwide (out of over 100,000 applicants) to be selected to participate in Racing Prodigy's prestigious "Prodigy Week" in Atlanta where he competed in a 3-day motorsports combine competing for a
professional racing contract.
Then in July of 2024, Kamden travelled to London, England to
participate in Racing Prodigy's inaugural Prodigy Racing
League Draft. There, Kamden was picked 18th overall, (1 of 6
Americans) by Williams esports, a division of Williams Racing.
In the 2025 Prodigy Racing League season, while piloting the
Radical SR1, Kamden earned 2 wins, podiumed in all 8 races
and finished tied for 2nd in the overall driver standings.
Kamden's ability to be competitive on the track, along with his
understanding of being a reliable and marketable brand
representative, make him sought after in the motorsports
environment.
Additionally, Kamden has performed incredibly well in the
classroom. On a path to be a future engineer, Kamden is
currently taking honor classes in mathematics, english and
science a s well a s maintaining a 4.0+ GPA while attending Big Walnut High School.
Finally, Kamden is currently a member of his high school's band program, enjoys spending his free time racing on the simulator and being around family and friends.
